Gavel Exec includes built-in playbooks that we've developed with expert attorneys in corporate and real estate law. These allow you to instantly run redlines across your document based on:
- Market-standard benchmarks
- Client-favorable positions (e.g., strong buyer/seller terms)
Build Your Own Playbook
You can also create your own playbooks by adding rules individually or uploading your own documents (such as checklists or spreadsheet playbooks). Gavel Exec will convert them into reusable playbooks that apply consistent redlines across future deals. Playbooks can include:
- Redlines
- Comments to opposing counsel
- Comments to your client for internal review
How To Build Your Own Playbook
- Go to the Playbooks tab, and click "+ Create new"
- Click Create new rule, and add as much detail as desired under the Description, including specifics on markup guidance for redlining.
- Run this playbook to get results on what passed and what failed, and markup suggestions to have this document comply with your standards.
