User Management
There are four types of users: Admin, Builder, Organizational User, and User. Each role has different capabilities and access permissions. Read the descriptions below to find out which one works best for each member of your Gavel account.
Organizational Users and Users have no access to workflows unless you explicitly give them access.
Admin
- Description: Comprehensive control over all aspects of the Gavel account, including billing, user management, and all client data.
- Key Actions: Manage billing, view and manipulate all client data, change all users’ roles and contact info.

Builder
- Description: Creates and shares questions and forms to gather client data, and has access to specific client data.
- Key Actions: Upload templates and create questions to populate those templates. Answer or Assign the questions to clients, then view/edit the inputted data and outputted documents.

Organizational User
- Description: Handles specific question assignments and client data manipulation within their scope.
- Key Actions: Answer assigned questions and access related client data.

User
- Description: The End user interacts with their client portal to answer assigned questions.
- Key Actions: Access and respond to assigned questions.

Managing Users
From the Users page, Admins can invite new users and edit existing users' names, email addresses, and roles.
